NEVA
NEVA was born and raised in Rochester New York. Music has always been a huge part of her life. At the age of 4 she started playing the tambourine and later began to sing. When NEVA was younger and in the early stages of singing, she was very shy. It wasn’t until the 8th grade at her middle school talent show that she began to break out of her shell. She realized at the moment that she wanted to change the world and make a difference through music. From 9th -12th grade she attended School of The Arts as a vocal major and studied music. For her college years she went to Columbia College in Chicago majoring in music with a concentration in Jazz Studies. She now has a BA in music and is now the founding music teacher at Rochester prep Middle school 3. Outside of teaching NEVA is a Singer-songwriter, hand percussionist, and performer. She has released three projects on all streaming platforms and has a YouTube channel. Music has always been part of her life and that will never change. Neva will make a difference in her community and every other place she steps foot in through music.
Kenny Arbuckle was born and raised in Rochester New York and has been playing guitar since age 10. He has an eclectic taste in music and is influenced by multiple genres, including jazz, soul, americana, and jam band music. He attended Syracuse University and played guitar in the Setnor School Jazz Ensemble as an undergraduate. After moving back to the area from New York City in 2021, he has been integrating into the local music scene and is involved in several local bands, including the Fakers, NEVA and NEOSOULS, the Trouvaille Quintet, and his personal project, Bad Peach. Outside of music he spends his time as a corporate IT consultant and real estate entrepreneur.
